Gn 12:7
Yahweh appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your seed."
Gn 13:14-17
14 Yahweh said to Abram, after Lot was separated from him, “Now, lift up your
eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and
eastward and westward,
15 for all the land which you see, I will give to you, and to your offspring
forever.
16 I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can
number the dust of the earth, then your seed may also be numbered.
17 Arise, walk through the land in its length and in its breadth; for I will
give it to you.”
Gn 15:7,8,18-21
7 He said to him, “I am Yahweh who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to
give you this land to inherit it.”
8 He said, “Lord Yahweh, how will I know that I will inherit it?”
18 In that day Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your seed I have
given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river
Euphrates:
19 the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,
20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,
21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”
Gn 17:8
I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are
traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be
their God.”
Gn 24:7
Yahweh, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house, and from the
land of my birth, who spoke to me, and who swore to me, saying, ‘I will give
this land to your seed.’ He will send his angel before you, and you shall take
a wife for my son from there.

3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you. For to you,
and to your seed, I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath

will make of you a company of peoples, and will give this land to your seed

Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, We
are journeying to the place of which Yahweh said, I will give it to you: come
you with us, and we will do you good; for Yahweh has spoken good concerning
Israel.

Have I conceived all this people? Have I brought them forth, that you should
tell me, Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the
land which you swore to their fathers?

Send you men, that they may spy out the land of Canaan, which I give to the
children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers you shall send a man,

8 If Yahweh delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it to

shall any of those who despised me see it:
40 They rose up early in the morning, and got them up to the top of the
mountain, saying, Behold, we are here, and will go up to the place which Yahweh

12 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, Because you didn’t believe in me, to
sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring
this assembly into the land which I have given them.
24 Aaron shall be gathered to his people; for he shall not enter into the land
which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against my
word at the waters of Meribah.

Yahweh said to Moses, Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which
I have given to the children of Israel.

7 Why discourage you the heart of the children of Israel from going over into
the land which Yahweh has given them?

discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into

upward, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob;

and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which Yahweh our God

35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see the good
land, which I swore to give to your fathers,

who this day have no knowledge of good or evil, they shall go in there, and to
them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

12 The Horites also lived in Seir before, but the children of Esau succeeded

Israel did to the land of his possession, which Yahweh gave to them.)
29 as the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, and the Moabites who dwell in Ar,
did to me; until I shall pass over the Jordan into the land which Yahweh our God

18 I commanded you at that time, saying, Yahweh your God has given you this land
to possess it: you shall pass over armed before your brothers the children of
Israel, all the men of valor.
20 until Yahweh give rest to your brothers, as to you, and they also possess the

every man to his possession, which I have given you.

and he will love you, and bless you, and multiply you; he will also bless the
fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your new wine
and your oil, the increase of your livestock and the young of your flock, in the
land which he swore to your fathers to give you.

1 You shall observe to do all the commandment which I command you this day, that
you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to
your fathers.
10 You shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your God for the good
land which he has given you.

6 Know therefore, that Yahweh your God doesn’t give you this good land to
possess it for your righteousness; for you are a stiff-necked people.
23 When Yahweh sent you from Kadesh Barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land
which I have given you; then you rebelled against the commandment of Yahweh your
God, and you didn’t believe him, nor listen to his voice.
28 lest the land whence you brought us out say, Because Yahweh was not able to
bring them into the land which he promised to them, and because he hated them,
he has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.
Dt 10:11
Yahweh said to me, Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go
in and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers to give to them.

9 and that you may prolong your days in the land, which Yahweh swore to your
fathers to give to them and to their seed, a land flowing with milk and honey.
17 and the anger of Yahweh be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky, so
that there shall be no rain, and the land shall not yield its fruit; and you
perish quickly from off the good land which Yahweh gives you.
21 that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land
which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens
above the earth.
31 For you are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which Yahweh
your God gives you, and you shall possess it, and dwell therein.
Dt 12:1,9,10
1 These are the statutes and the ordinances which you shall observe to do in the
land which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess it, all the
days that you live on the earth.
9 for you haven’t yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which Yahweh
your God gives you.
10 But when you go over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which Yahweh your God
causes you to inherit, and he gives you rest from all your enemies around you,
so that you dwell in safety;

If you shall hear tell concerning one of your cities, which Yahweh your God
gives you to dwell there, saying,

4 However there shall be no poor with you; (for Yahweh will surely bless you in
the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it;)
7 If there be with you a poor man, one of your brothers, within any of your

2 If there be found in the midst of you, within any of your gates which Yahweh
your God gives you, man or woman, who does that which is evil in the sight of
Yahweh your God, in transgressing his covenant,
14 When you are come to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, and shall
possess it, and shall dwell therein, and shall say, I will set a king over me,
like all the nations that are around me;

When you are come into the land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not
learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

1 When Yahweh your God shall cut off the nations, whose land Yahweh your God
gives you, and you succeed them, and dwell in their cities, and in their houses;
2 you shall set apart three cities for you in the midst of your land, which
Yahweh your God gives you to possess it.
3 You shall prepare you the way, and divide the borders of your land, which
Yahweh your God causes you to inherit, into three parts, that every manslayer
may flee there.
8 If Yahweh your God enlarge your border, as he has sworn to your fathers, and
give you all the land which he promised to give to your fathers;
10 that innocent blood not be shed in the midst of your land, which Yahweh your
God gives you for an inheritance, and so blood be on you.
14 You shall not remove your neighbor’s landmark, which they of old time have
set, in your inheritance which you shall inherit, in the land that Yahweh your
God gives you to possess it.
Dt 20:16
But of the cities of these peoples, that Yahweh your God gives you for an
inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes;
Dt 21:1,23
1 If one be found slain in the land which Yahweh your God gives you to possess
it, lying in the field, and it isn’t known who has struck him;
23 his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury
him the same day; for he who is hanged is accursed of God; that you don’t
defile your land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance.
Dt 24:4
her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife,
after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before Yahweh: and you shall
not cause the land to sin, which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance.
Dt 25:15,19
15 You shall have a perfect and just weight. You shall have a perfect and just
measure, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
19 Therefore it shall be, when Yahweh your God has given you rest from all your
enemies all around, in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an
inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from
under the sky; you shall not forget.

1 It shall be, when you are come in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you
for an inheritance, and possess it, and dwell therein,
2 that you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you
shall bring in from your land that Yahweh your God gives you; and you shall put
it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to
cause his name to dwell there.
3 You shall come to the priest who shall be in those days, and tell him, I
profess this day to Yahweh your God, that I am come to the land which Yahweh
swore to our fathers to give us.
9 and he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land
flowing with milk and honey.
10 Now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you,
Yahweh, have given me. You shall set it down before Yahweh your God, and worship
before Yahweh your God.
15 Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people
Israel, and the ground which you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a
land flowing with milk and honey.
Dt 27:2,3
2 It shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Jordan to the land which
Yahweh your God gives you, that you shall set yourself up great stones, and
plaster them with plaster:
3 and you shall write on them all the words of this law, when you are passed
over; that you may go in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, a land
flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised
you.

8 Yahweh will command the blessing on you in your barns, and in all that you put
your hand to; and he will bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
11 Yahweh will make you plenteous for good, in the fruit of your body, and in

52 They shall besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fortified walls

life, and the length of your days; that you may dwell in the land which Yahweh

Yahweh said to him, This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to
Jacob, saying, I will give it to your seed: I have caused you to see it with
your eyes, but you shall not go over there.

‘Yahweh your God gives you rest, and will give you this land.
15 until Yahweh has given your brothers rest, as he has given you, and they have
also possessed the land which Yahweh your God gives them. Then you shall return
to the land of your possession, and possess it, which Moses the servant of
Yahweh gave you beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise.’”

9 and she said to the men, “I know that Yahweh has given you the land, and
that the fear of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land
melt away before you.
14 The men said to her, “Our life for yours, if you don’t talk about this
business of ours; and it shall be, when Yahweh gives us the land, that we will
deal kindly and truly with you.”
24 They said to Joshua, “Truly Yahweh has delivered into our hands all the
land. Moreover, all the inhabitants of the land melt away before us.”

For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, until all the
nation, even the men of war who came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they
didn’t listen to the voice of Yahweh. Yahweh swore to them that he wouldn’t
let them see the land which Yahweh swore to their fathers that he would give
us,
a land flowing with milk and honey.
Jsh 9:24
They answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told your servants, how
that Yahweh your God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and
to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you; therefore we were
sore afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

Joshua said to the children of Israel, How long are you slack to go in to
possess the land, which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you?

So Yahweh gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their

13 know for a certainty that Yahweh your God will no more drive these nations
from out of your sight; but they shall be a snare and a trap to you, and a
scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this
good land which Yahweh your God has given you.
15 It shall happen, that as all the good things are come on you of which Yahweh
your God spoke to you, so will Yahweh bring on you all the evil things, until he
have destroyed you from off this good land which Yahweh your God has given you.
16 When you disobey the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he commanded you, and
go and serve other gods, and bow down yourselves to them; then will the anger of
Yahweh be kindled against you, and you shall
perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you.

I gave you a land whereon you had not labored, and cities which you didn’t
build, and you dwell therein; of vineyards and olive groves which you didn’t
plant do you eat.

The angel of Yahweh came up from Gilgal to Bochim. He said, I made you to go up
out of Egypt, and have brought you to the land which I swore to your fathers;
and I said, I will never break my covenant with you:

who oppressed you, and drove them out from before you, and gave you their land;

For Yahweh will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water; and he will
root up Israel out of this good land which he gave to their fathers, and will
scatter them beyond the River, because they have made their Asherim, provoking
Yahweh to anger.
