Canaan
Canaan was a son of Ham, who was a son of Noah. His descendants are called Canaanites. The area where they settled and lived is also called Canaan. Genesis 10:19 gives the borders of Canaan: "The border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as you go toward Gerar, to Gaza; as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, to Lasha." These Canaanite borders are related to the Borders of Israel since God gave Canaan to Israel. See "Israel Given Canaan".
Gn 9:18,22,25,26,27
18 The sons of Noah who went forth from the ship were Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Ham is the father of Canaan.
22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told
his two brothers outside.
25 He said,
“Canaan is cursed.
He will be servant of servants to his brothers.”
26 He said,
“Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Shem.
Let Canaan be his servant.
27 May God enlarge Japheth.
Let him dwell in the tents of Shem.
Let Canaan be his servant.”

1 Isaac called Jacob, blessed him, and commanded him, “You shall not take a

6 Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan Aram, to
take him a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he gave him a command,
saying, “You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan,”
8 Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan didn’t please Isaac, his
father.

14 Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in

the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word
