Contact God

Contact God?  Yes, contacting God is the most important thing anyone can do.  Mankind is out of contact with God because of our rebellion against Him and His ways.  He has provided just one way back to Him - through His son Yeshua, The Messiah (or as we normally hear it in English, "Jesus Christ").  Yeshua/Jesus became our Passover Lamb and was sacrificed in our place to erase our sin, the guilt we have because of our rebellion against Him and His ways.  Access to Him and the forgiveness we can find in Him can't be earned by us - there's nothing we can do to work for it or deserve it.  It's a free gift for anyone who simply comes to Him with faith in Jesus and in His sacrifice for us.

Contacting God is just talking to Him, with a simple prayer - something like this:  "God, I believe in you and in Jesus, your Son, who sacrificed His life for me.  Forgive me for all that I've done against you.  Come into my life, teach me your ways and help me to live by them, in Jesus' name.  Amen."
The lives of multiple-millions of people have been radically changed by simple prayers like that.  It's like opening a door, and He WILL enter your open door, like He said He would:  "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him..." Rv 3:20
After that, He's also available to you for anything else you want to talk to Him about - ANYTHING.

Scriptures concerning Israel's Messiah being the ONLY path to God for both Jews and Gentiles:

Jn 1:10-13
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him.
11 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him.
12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name:
13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jn 3:16-18
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
17 For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
18 He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

Jn 5:24
“Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Jn 10:9
I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture.

Jn 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Ac 2:21
It will be, that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

Ac 4:12
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

Rm 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rm 10:9-13
9
that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
13 For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

1Jn 5:11-13
11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
