The Jews Loved by God
Gn 12:3
I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses
you. In you
will all of the families of the earth be blessed.”

You shall tell Pharaoh, ‘Thus says Yahweh, Israel is my son, my firstborn,
Ex 19:5,6
5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice, and keep my covenant, then you
shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;
6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.’ These are
the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”
Ex 33:16
For how would people know that I have found favor in your sight, I and your
people? Isn’t it in that you go with us, so that we are separated, I and your
people, from all the people who are on the surface of the earth?”
Lv 20:24,26
24 But I have said to you, “You shall inherit their land, and I will give it
to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am Yahweh your
God, who has separated you from the peoples.
26 You shall be holy to me: for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from
the peoples, that you should be mine.
Nm 23:9
For from the top of the rocks I see him, From the hills I see him: behold, it is
a people that dwells alone, And shall not be reckoned among the nations.
Dt 4:7,37,38
7 For what great nation is there, that has a god so near to them, as Yahweh our
God is whenever we call on him?
37 Because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and
brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt;
38 to drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring
you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as at this day.
Dt 7:6-8
6 For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God: Yahweh your God has chosen you
to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of
the earth.
7 Yahweh didn’t set his love on you, nor choose you, because you were more in
number than any people; for you were the fewest of all peoples:
8 but because Yahweh loves you, and because he would keep the oath which he
swore to your fathers, has Yahweh brought you out with a mighty hand, and
redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of
Egypt.
Dt 14:2,21
2 For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God, and Yahweh has chosen you to be a
people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the
earth.
21 You shall not eat of anything that dies of itself: you may give it to the
foreigner living among you who is within your gates, that he may eat it; or you
may sell it to a foreigner: for you are a holy people to Yahweh your God. You
shall not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.
Dt 23:5 Nevertheless Yahweh your God wouldn’t listen to Balaam; but Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because Yahweh your God loved you.
Dt 26:18,19
18 and Yahweh has declared you this day to be a people for his own
possession,
as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments;
19 and to make you high above all nations that he has made, in praise, and in
name, and in honor; and that you may be a holy people to Yahweh your God, as he
has spoken.
Dt 32:8-10
8 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance,
when he separated the children of men,
he set the bounds of the peoples
according to the number of the children of Israel.
9 For Yahweh’s portion is his people.
Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
10 He found him in a desert land,
in the waste howling wilderness.
He surrounded him.
He cared for him.
He kept him as the apple of his eye.
2Ch 2:11
Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon,
“Because Yahweh loves his people, he has made you king over them.”
2Ch 9:8
Blessed be Yahweh your God, who delighted in you, to set you on his throne, to
be king for Yahweh your God: because your God loved Israel, to establish them
forever, therefore made he you king over them, to do justice and righteousness.
Ps 44:3
For they didn’t get the land in possession by their own sword,
neither did their own arm save them;
but your right hand, and your arm, and the light of your face,
because you were favorable to them.
Ps 135:4
For Yah has chosen Jacob for himself;
Israel for his own possession.
Ps 147:19,20
19 He shows his word to Jacob;
his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
20 He has not done this for just any nation.
They don’t know his ordinances.
Praise Yah!
Ps 148:14
He has lifted up the horn of his people,
the praise of all his saints;
even of the children of Israel, a people near to him.

Is 41:8,9
8 “But you, Israel, my servant,
Jacob whom I have chosen,
the seed of Abraham my friend
9 You whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth,
and called from its corners,
and said to you, ‘You are my servant, I have chosen you and
not cast you away;’
Is 43:4,21
4 Since you have been precious and honored in my sight,
and I have loved you;
therefore I will give people in your place,
and nations instead of your life.
21 the people which I formed for myself,
that they might set forth my praise.
Is 44:1,21
1 Yet listen now, Jacob my servant,
and Israel, whom I have chosen.
21 Remember these things, Jacob and Israel;
for you are my servant.
I have formed you.

Is 62:12
They shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Yahweh: and you shall be
called Sought out, A city not forsaken.
Is 63:7,9
7 I will make mention of the loving kindnesses of Yahweh, and the
praises of Yahweh, according to all that Yahweh has bestowed on us, and the
great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them
according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving
kindnesses.
9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence
saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore
them, and carried them all the days of old.
Jr 3:14
Return, backsliding children, says Yahweh; for I am a husband to you: and I will
take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

I have forsaken my house, I have cast off my heritage; I have given the dearly
beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

3 Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an
everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

“When Israel was a child, then I loved him,
and called my son out of Egypt.

“You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth.
Therefore I will punish you for all of your sins.”

“I have loved you,” says Yahweh.

“Wasn’t Esau Jacob’s brother?” says Yahweh, “Yet I loved Jacob;

1 Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision?
2 Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the oracles
of God.
